SGA Senate Application 2024-2025
Thanks for your interest in becoming an SGA Senator for the 2023-2024 School Year! This application is for consideration for an At-Large Senator position.
At-large senator positions include:
senators individually representing each class:
Freshman
Sophomore
Junior
Senior
Commuter Senators from the commuting populous
Resident Senators from the student residential body
Senator from Fraternity Life
Senator from Sorority Life
Veterans Senator At-large Senators are selected through an application, vetting, and then appointed by the SGA Vice-President and SGA Advisor.
There are also appointed senators who are recommended by different administrative offices and administration and selected/appointed by the SGA Vice President and SGA Advisor. Appointed senators include: (7) senators, recommended by the Dean of each college/school (MSE, CHASS, DSE, HEBSBA, NHP, GSR, SMD) (1) International Senator recommended by the International Student Scholar Services Office (1) Athletics Senator from the recommended by the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (1) Student Activities Senator from the recommended by the Office of Campus Engagement (1) Service senator recommended by the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership and Sustainability (1) Honors Senator recommended by the Honors Council (1) Mission and Ministry Senator recommended by University Mission and Ministry (1) ROTC senator recommended by the Center for Veterans Affairs office If interested in an appointed senator, please contact the recommending offices/adminsitration.
